The Holy Quran recitation by Sheikh Abdulbasit Abdulsamad is a remarkable rendition of the complete Quran. It is in the narration of Hafs from Asim, accompanied by the supplication for completion of the Quran.

Recently, we have added an additional 200 Qaris that you can listen to online. Some of these include renowned reciters such as Abdul Abdus, Alafasy Bakr, Dosari Ghamidi, Karim Maher, Mishary Mueaqly, Nasser Qatami, Quran Rashid, Saad Samad, Shatri Sudais, Tadabaroo verses Yasser, and many more. You will truly appreciate their recitations.

This application offers an experience akin to listening to the Holy Quran on the radio. It provides an effortless way to listen to Sheikh Abdul Baset Abdulsamad offline, without requiring an internet connection.

We have also included Hisn Almuslim for daily Adhkar (remembrances) with the ability to use the Sibha (prayer beads). You have the flexibility to customize your daily athkars.

Audio Koran Majeed MP3 offline is available in the recitation of Sheikh AbdulBasit according to the Riwayat Hafs. The application offers features such as auto shuffle, ability to work in the background while you use other apps, repeat functionality, auto stop during calls, skip to next and previous tracks, volume control, access to individual suras of the Quran, and offline MP3 playback without requiring an internet connection. In this al-Quran Android application, you will find quran mp3 files. The names of the surahs (chapters) are translated into English for your convenience.

For further information about Sheikh Abdelbasset Abdessamad, please note that ‘Abdul-Basit ‘Abdel-Samad (1927 – November 30, 1988) was a renowned Kurdish Egyptian Qari (reciter of the Quran). He won three world Qira'at competitions in the early 1970s and was one of the first huffaz to commercially record his recitations. He was also the first president of the Reciters' Union in Egypt.

In 1950, he relocated from Luxor to Cairo, where his mother was an Egyptian Arab and his father was of Kurdish descent.

Sheikh Abdulbasit Abdulsamad traveled extensively outside of Egypt. For example, he recited at the Badshahi Masjid in Lahore, Pakistan, as well as at one of the biggest Madrasas in Bangladesh, Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam in Chittagong. He also visited Jakarta, Indonesia in 1964/1965 and recited the Quran in the country's largest mosque.

Contrary to some sources, Sheikh Abdulbasit Abdulsamad passed away due to an illness and not because of a car accident. Seven days before his death, he was admitted to one of the finest hospitals in London. He passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 1988. He is survived by his three sons: Yasir, Hisham, and Tariq. Following in his father's footsteps, Yasir also became a Qari.
